Situated in a tranquil setting with private parking and established in 2000, we provide a unique, complete medical ophthalmological and optical dispensing service under the directorship of an established ophthalmologist.

Our aims are to provide thorough medical ophthalmic examinations in addition to the basic sight test, where all problems can be evaluated in-house, whilst offering the highest quality eyewear.

Most of our consultation expenses are covered by the NHS provisions in Scotland so eye examinations are usually free of charge. Also the cost of children's glasses is reduced by the NHS voucher system.

We aim not just to benefit our patients but also the wider community and the environment by sponsoring the Edinburgh International Book Festival, and by recycling glasses in partnership with Vision Aid Overseas.
